Teaching Assistant for Preparatory Education - Jyväskylän kaupunki - Remote - Global

We are hiring teaching assistants for basic education in Jyväskylä, starting August 3, 2026. The role involves guiding and assisting students in classrooms, small groups, or individually in various educational and developmental environments. Tasks include supporting newly arrived students in preparatory education, aiding integration, and possibly working in morning and afternoon activities for basic education students, as well as in early childhood education. The position may also include school organization tasks such as supervision duties. The assistant supports students in groups and integration lessons, and helps with the integration of students and families in collaboration with teachers. The role requires a qualification in teaching guidance, community pedagogy, or similar. Finnish language skills must be at least YKI3 level if Finnish is not the native language. The position is part-time, 31 hours per week, with evening work 1-3 times a month. The starting salary is 2388.25 euros/month. The role begins on August 3, 2026, or by agreement.
