Job Description
As a designer, you will be responsible for the detailed planning and documentation of fixed telecommunications networks built for operators in the KeyCom system. The tasks include, among others, terrain planning for excavation routes, obtaining placement permits and necessary statements for project execution, and incorporating these into the design. Additionally, you will work on defining materials, creating work maps, connection diagrams, cost estimates, and network documentation. The role involves office work, but you will also have opportunities to go into the field and work closely with various stakeholders. The job is partly mobile, and a driving license is required. Job Tasks include planning and documenting telecommunications networks, terrain planning and creating work maps and connection diagrams, close cooperation with stakeholders and obtaining permits and necessary statements for project implementation, and preparing and documenting cost estimates. We are looking for suitable education (e.g., electrical, information, or communication technology), understanding and experience in similar planning tasks (experience in earthworks or terrain planning is an advantage), excellent communication and collaboration skills, willingness to learn and an active, proactive approach to work, strong IT skills and experience with network information systems (e.g., Keycom, NIMS, SNET), and fluent Finnish language skills (additional language skills are an advantage). The role is based in Finland with locations including Espoo, Helsinki, Vantaa, Kauniainen, Hyvinkää, Kerava, Kirkkonummi, Loviisa, Mäntsälä, Nurmijärvi, Sipoo, Siuntio, Tuusula, and Vihd.
