We are currently seeking an enthusiastic English language teacher to join our team in Kajaani. The role involves working as a private tutor for primary and secondary school students as well as adult learners. This may include, for example, a high school student preparing for an exam or an adult learner in the workforce seeking to improve their language fluency. Previous experience in teaching or private tutoring is considered an advantage, but the most important qualities are confidence in teaching, good interaction skills, and a desire to help others develop. Proficiency in Finnish is required. The work is flexible and usually takes place in the afternoon or evening, with schedules agreed upon independently with clients. Lessons can be held at the student’s or teacher’s home, in a library, or online. The number of hours and clients depends largely on the subject taught and your preferences.
