As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in strengthening and continuously developing our quality management system in a fast-evolving high-tech environment. You will enable continuous improvement across IQM’s operations, focusing on product and service quality, customer-perceived quality, and internal process efficiency and effectiveness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and service functions to drive impactful quality initiatives and ensure scalable, high-quality operations as we grow. This is an opportunity to influence how quality management is built and developed in one of Europe’s leading quantum technology companies. This role is based in Espoo, Finland. Responsibilities include developing and improving nonconformity management processes, leading quality improvement initiatives, supporting customer complaint analysis, defining and monitoring quality KPIs, promoting good quality practices, training teams, creating and maintaining quality documentation, supporting QMS development, and serving as an internal auditor. Must-have qualifications include proven experience in quality management within manufacturing, strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar, hands-on experience with quality tools, 5+ years of experience, excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, collaboration skills, ownership, trustworthiness, continuous improvement mindset, innovative thinking, and a relevant MSc or BSc degree. Nice-to-have qualifications include Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification and experience conducting internal audits. Why IQM? Requirements
- Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with quality tools and methodologies, including Root Cause Analysis and statistical process control
- 5+ years of experience in quality management
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across different levels of the organization
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships across departments
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for quality outcomes
