Join our team of psychologists working with children, youth, and families in South Karelia! We are hiring two school psychologists for fixed-term positions: from August 3, 2026, to June 30, 2027, in Lappeenranta (start date negotiable), and from August 3 to December 31, 2026, in Lappeenranta/Imatra (start date negotiable). The role involves promoting and supporting children's and adolescents' school attendance, learning, and well-being through individual and community-based student health work, collaboration with guardians, psychological assessments, multidisciplinary networking, and consulting support to school staff. You will work in a team with a good spirit, collaborating closely with counselors, doctors, school health nurses, schools, and other networks such as the Child and Youth House. The psychologists are part of the Child and Youth Psychologists unit, led by a chief psychologist, with professional support from a designated psychologist for student health. Regular supervision and collegial support are provided, including consultation from neuropsychologists. Requirements include a valid psychologist license under the Health Care Professionals Act 559/94, a criminal record extract, and vaccination against infectious diseases.
