Support Service Worker for Part-Time Position at Pitäjänmäki Validia House - Validia - Helsinki, Finland

Join us in creating your life story at Validia. We are currently hiring a support service worker for 50% work hours at Pitäjänmäki Validia House. As a support service worker, your tasks include food service duties such as ordering, preparing, heating, and presenting meals. You will also handle dishwashing, ensure the comfort and cleanliness of the different kitchens and shared spaces on each floor, and participate in laundry management. The work is scheduled from Monday to Sunday in two shifts between 7 AM and 9 PM. You should have good spoken and written Finnish skills and an enthusiastic, proactive attitude. A hygiene passport is required for the role. Since you will meet our unit’s clients daily and participate in their daily lives, we are primarily looking for a friendly personality to join our community. We prefer candidates with education in the nutrition sector (e.g., restaurant and catering) and previous experience in similar roles is considered an advantage. We value individuality and believe no one should have to manage alone. Experience in disability work is appreciated, but genuine interest and motivation to work with us are even more important.
