Child Protection Outpatient Services Worker
Job Description
The work is demanding and impactful — shared responsibility supported by a strong team. Your tasks include serving as a social worker responsible for children and youth in child protection outpatient services, performing expert work with children and their relatives, organizing and evaluating outpatient support measures, and preparing urgent placements and foster care. The initial work locations are Paimio, Sauvo, Kemiönsaari, and Parainen, with options to work in Paimio or Parainen. You will also serve Swedish-speaking clients in Kemiönsaari. The team includes a lead social worker, six outpatient social workers, and three social counselors. Child protection services use a systemic working model, supported by weekly team meetings and regular supervision. We offer a responsible, diverse, and independent role in a strong professional community, with support for work well-being and a positive environment. A leasing car is provided, with the possibility to use your own car. We expect a customer-oriented, reflective, and development-minded approach, openness, and good cooperation skills. Experience in child protection outpatient services and familiarity with the work area are advantageous. A driver’s license and the ability to use your own car are required.
