Our client is seeking an independent CNC turner/machinist for a permanent position. We are looking for a skilled metal industry CNC turner/machinist for a machine shop in Lahti to perform versatile tasks. The ideal candidate has experience with multi-axis CNC lathes (also milling). The machining involves creating tool paths using Autodesk Fusion 360 CAM software and Okuma control (switched from Fanuc). If you are familiar with these, continue reading. Other important tasks include sawing, making fixtures, programming, machining, and finishing work. Experience working in a machine shop is also considered an advantage. Requirements include a metal machining education, experience with CNC lathes and the ability to program independently, good Finnish language skills, high work ethic, and ability to read drawings.
