Job Description As a process mechanical and piping supervisor, you will oversee the installation of mechanical equipment and piping on-site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The role focuses heavily on welding quality, pressure testing, inspections, hygiene requirements, and coordination with contractors, working closely with installation managers, quality assurance, commissioning, and other teams. Your responsibilities include supervising mechanical equipment and piping installation, coordinating pipe fabrication, installation, and testing activities, monitoring welding quality, and overseeing pressure testing and NDT activities. You will work closely with QA/QC engineers on inspections, ITPs, NCRs, and corrective actions. You will monitor the schedule of mechanical and piping work and ensure milestones are met. You will support planning, progress tracking, and help resolve site-related issues. You will coordinate and supervise contractors and subcontractors on-site, monitor quality, productivity, and compliance, and coordinate work with stakeholders to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth execution. You will proactively identify and resolve mechanical and piping issues. The role involves travel, and you should be prepared to visit different sites frequently. The work is primarily at project locations.
