Job Description

We are seeking a childcare worker for a permanent position at Kauklahden Daycare Center. Our daycare has four different groups on-site and four pre-primary groups at Hansakallio School. Additionally, our unit includes Pikku-Karhu Daycare Center, located further away in Karhusuo. As an early childhood educator, you will ensure the high-quality implementation of early childhood education in collaboration with the team teachers. Workplace name and address: Kauklahden Daycare Center, Hanskallionkuja 1, 02780 Espoo Working hours: 38 hours 15 minutes/week The position is permanent. Qualification requirement: Qualification in accordance with the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018, Section 28, Regulation 753/2018, Sections 3 and 4) Suitable educational background includes a basic degree in education and guidance, social and health care, or other comparable qualification, which includes or has been supplemented with sufficiently extensive studies in child care, upbringing, and education. Examples include childcare worker, daycare worker, and practical nurse (child and youth care program). We require excellent interaction skills and sensitive, respectful interaction with both children and adults. We value the ability to meet children and their parents individually, respectfully, and sensitively. We also appreciate good teamwork skills and enthusiasm for developing our daycare’s operations.
