Waste Collection Truck Driver - SPM Kuljetus Oy

We collect municipal contracts for Pirkanmaa waste management, with materials including plastic, mixed waste, and cardboard. Our collection areas are Tampere and surrounding municipalities. The work takes place in both city centers and suburban environments; therefore, vehicle handling skills must be at a high level, as space is often very limited. The job requires quick reasoning, good vehicle handling skills, and good basic physical fitness. Route lists are located on a tablet computer via a mapping program; to ensure smooth work, proficiency in navigating with a map is required. The information system is designed to be very simple, making it easy to learn. Work is available for a long period. New contracts begin in the autumn, but we need workers immediately to cover vacations. Opportunities for employment are available in both deep collection and surface container contracts.
