Supervisor, Home Care, Rauma - Satakunnan hyvinvointialue - Pori, Finland

We are seeking a skilled and motivated supervisor for a permanent position in the home care services of the Satakunta wellbeing services area in Rauma (Home Care 4B). The home care unit is administratively part of the elderly services sector and is responsible for home care for all age groups. The majority of clients are elderly. The key responsibility of the supervisor is to lead and ensure that the unit's operations comply with the self-monitoring plan, are productive, high-quality, and effective. The supervisor's tasks include various personnel management duties, monitoring quality and productivity, and developing the unit's operations in collaboration with clients, staff, the responsible area's management, and other stakeholders. Success in this role requires an interest in developing home care, the ability and expertise to handle demanding supervisory tasks, good organizational and interaction skills, resilience under pressure, and readiness to implement changes. A driving license and personal vehicle are preferred for performing work duties. The qualification requirement is a suitable higher education degree in social and health care or an equivalent previous college-level qualification supplemented with leadership studies. Additionally, we require leadership and development skills (at least 2 years of supervisory experience) and excellent communication skills in Finnish, both spoken and written. Practical experience in supervisory work in home care, good personnel management skills, and financial literacy are considered advantages. Good financial skills are also regarded as beneficial. The salary for this position is 3864.25 euros (standard working hours 38.25). There is no regular remote work option for this position. The position is subject to a 6-month probation period.
