Industrial Facility Maintenance Engineer - CF International Oy - Kotka, Finland

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Industrial Facility Maintenance Engineer to oversee and execute the operation, maintenance, and repair of utility and HVAC infrastructure for our clients advanced industrial project in Kotka. This position bridges practical field execution with site coordination. You will be responsible for ensuring the high reliability of critical cooling systems, chilled water networks, ventilation, and general facility utilities within a high-standard manufacturing facility environment. Field Operations & Inspection: Execute routine site walks, daily utility inspections, preventive maintenance (PM) checklists, and structural condition monitoring of all facility systems. Technical Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose, adjust, and repair industrial HVAC systems, large-scale process cooling water systems, chilled water loops, and air handling units. Emergency Response: Act as the frontline technical responder for sudden utility disruptions, executing rapid troubleshooting and emergency repairs to minimize factory downtime. Client Coordination: Act as the primary on-site technical point of contact for the clients facility team, reporting system statuses, addressing day-to-day requests, and coordinating joint interventions. Subcontractor Supervision: Supervise and coordinate specialized third-party service providers (e.g., valve calibration, automation specialists) during specialized maintenance or annual overhauls. Bidding Support: Collect operational field data, assess equipment conditions, and estimate labor hours to assist management in preparing accurate technical quotes and maintenance service proposals. HSE Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities fully comply with Finnish industrial safety regulations, site-specific protocols, and basic environmental standards (including Tukes facility safety baselines).
