We are seeking an assistant through the Central Finland Wellbeing Services County for a permanent position to assist an elderly woman in Äänekoski. The work is offered variably from 0 to 60 hours per month. Shifts are planned flexibly within the employment. Shifts are primarily on weekdays, but may also include weekends. Duties include domestic tasks, cooking, laundry, dressing assistance, errands, and leisure activities. Due to the nature of the work, the employer is seeking a female assistant. The employer has an automatic transmission car that the assistant is expected to drive during employment. The assistant must have a driver’s license and good driving skills. Employment is always private. The person selected for the position will be employed directly with the person receiving assistance. Notification of the interview/employment decision will be given personally. The work begins as soon as a suitable assistant is found. The employer has the right to request a criminal record extract from the employee working with elderly and disabled persons at the start of employment (Social and Health Care Supervision Act 741/2023, Section 28). The criminal record extract is confidential and should not be sent with the application.
