Forestry Machine Technician - Koneurakointi Jameko Oy - Janakkala, Finland

We are looking for a technician! This position is suitable if you want to work with the maintenance and servicing of forestry machines, are responsible, and follow safe work practices. Initiative, diligence, and independent work are advantages. Flexibility in working hours is also appreciated. Koneurakointi Jameko Oy is a company providing timber harvesting and forest management services. The office and maintenance facilities are located in Tervakoski, Janakkala. Additionally, the company has maintenance facilities in Loppi municipality. The company employs 22 people. The equipment includes 8 harvesters, 9 forwarders, and two excavators. There are also three flatbed trucks for transporting equipment to work sites. We are now seeking a technician responsible for the maintenance of equipment and facilities. Skills required: - Experience in equipment maintenance and servicing - Understanding of forestry contracting, the equipment used, and its operating principles - C-license for driving maintenance vehicles Job tasks: - Maintenance and installation work on forestry machines and excavators - Maintenance and installation work on flatbeds and work vehicles - Documentation of maintenance activities Driving forestry machines is not essential at the start of employment but is considered an advantage. Driving involves moving machines to and from maintenance facilities during servicing. The position will be filled when a suitable candidate is found, orientation will be provided, and start date is negotiable.
