Job Description
The Summer Trainee will support data-driven decision-making within Hiab Services. Working alongside experienced analysts and business stakeholders, the trainee will get hands-on exposure to BI reporting, data pipelines, and commercial analytics in a global industrial environment. The role focuses on supporting existing reporting and analytics workflows, from BigQuery consumption models to dashboards in Qlik Sense and Looker Studio, while learning how data translates into business decisions. We are accepting applications for Helsinki and Tampere, Finland. Key responsibilities include supporting the maintenance and development of BI dashboards and reports, assisting in building and validating BigQuery data pipelines, ensuring data quality, supporting business case development, participating in trainings, and contributing to data process improvements. The trainee should be pursuing a BSc or MSc in a relevant field, have basic SQL knowledge, be comfortable with Excel and structured data, and be fluent in English.
