Job Description
The Senior Specialist is responsible for gamma spectrometry sample measurements in the Measurement and Environmental Radiation Monitoring Department as a whole, as well as for method development. They serve as the head of the gamma team and as an expert in gamma measurement techniques, monitoring international developments in the field. The Senior Specialist is responsible for gamma spectrometry calibration and functions as the responsible person for accredited gamma spectrometry analyses within the department's quality system. They oversee the calibration of gamma spectrometers and maintenance of measurement systems. The Senior Specialist participates in national and international projects as agreed. The role requires readiness to travel domestically and abroad.
