Job Description
Veolia Finland is operating the biometanol production plant in Äänekoski, where process by-products from pulp manufacturing will be refined into biometanol for use as transportation fuel and raw material for industry. The plant is scheduled to start in summer 2026. We are seeking a Laboratory Technician for a permanent position to operate the plant's production control laboratory. You will be part of the startup phase of a unique technological facility and will receive comprehensive training. The work is day shift. Veolia emphasizes safety, aiming for zero accidents. Your daily tasks include ensuring safe and efficient laboratory operations, monitoring chemicals and supplies, sending process samples to external labs, maintaining equipment, participating in new method development, and collaborating with production.
