Full-time Special Class Teacher - Lahden kaupunki - Lahti, Finland

The position is located in hospital education for the pediatric ward of developmental disability psychiatry. The role requires proficiency in interaction and communication methods, knowledge of individual support arrangements for students, familiarity with guidance techniques, and understanding of the use of plain language materials. Some students study according to activity areas, while others study by subject. The qualification requirement is a special class teacher qualification. Qualification criteria are based on the decree on the qualifications of education personnel (986/98). If no qualified applicants are available, the position can be filled with an applicant without the qualification. The selected candidate must present a criminal background check as required by law 504/2002 before starting the position. A drug test certificate may also be requested.
