Unit Supervisor, Registered Nurse, Kotia Palvelut Oy Turku - Kotia Palvelut Oy - Turku, Finland

We are looking for a unit supervisor for our residential service unit opening in Ruissalo, Turku. The unit, Satamamestari, is aimed at individuals with developmental disabilities, offering communal and supported housing. The unit supervisor is responsible for the immediate supervision of our housing service unit, customer work, organization, and shift planning. The supervisor is also responsible for the quality and supervision of the unit's customer work. We are primarily seeking a registered nurse for this position. The person in charge must have a higher education degree suitable for the position, in accordance with Section 10, paragraph 4 of the Act on Professional Qualifications of Social Welfare Personnel (272/2005), relevant knowledge of the field, and sufficient leadership skills. A suitable higher education degree is considered to be at least a lower university degree in social or health care or a qualification in accordance with transitional provisions. Sufficient knowledge of the field is considered to be at least two years of work experience in disability services (Social Welfare Act 1301/2014, Section 46 a). Adequate leadership skills mean work experience in social or health care supervisory roles or leadership training obtained through education, or the ability to perform supervisory or managerial tasks in addition to basic education (at least 25 credits).
