Temporary Class Teacher Position for Basic Education 1.8.2026-31.7.2028 - Kokkolan kaupunki - Kokkola, Finland

The position is located at Rahkosen School in Ullava. The school is situated in a peaceful environment, surrounded by excellent outdoor activities. It is a small village school with two teachers. In addition to the school, a group family daycare operates in the same premises. There is a multi-purpose hall connected to the school, which includes a gymnasium, a fitness center, and a library. We are looking for a teacher for grades 4-6 who has an interest and experience in multi-grade teaching. An interest in teaching music and crafts, especially with durable materials, is considered an advantage. As a class teacher, you are responsible for the overall growth, learning, and well-being of the class. We value good interaction skills, flexibility, initiative, and the ability to operate in various situations in the school’s daily life. We consider diverse pedagogical skills and experience in teaching and supporting different learners important. The well-being and community spirit of students and staff are important to us. The qualification requirements for the position are determined according to the decree on the qualifications of education personnel (986/1998).
