Job Description

We work to foster a strong sense of community with the child at the center. Social sustainability, the child's language development, and everyday skills are close to our hearts. Starting from autumn 2025, we have begun developing play responsiveness in our unit. We value genuine interest in developing and evaluating pedagogy together with the entire staff. At Kungsgårds Daycare and Preschool, we have a high proportion of qualified teachers and child caregivers in early childhood education. As a teacher in early childhood education, you are responsible for the pedagogical activities in your group together with the rest of your team. Your role also includes functioning as a team leader and as a pedagogical colleague to the leader. The preschool has an established collaboration with schools and student health services. The daycare consists of 7 daycare groups and 2 preschool groups. You can find us in Köklax with good transportation connections. We operate in two buildings: Kungsgårds Daycare, which houses our 0-3-year-old groups, and our new building, Kungsgårds Daycare and Preschool, which contains our 3-5-year-old groups and preschool groups. We see the size of the daycare as a strength, as there is always collegial support available and someone to bounce ideas with. Our versatile spaces, including the school gym and craft room, as well as a dedicated library and proximity to nature, provide opportunities for an educational and inspiring learning environment. We offer you a learning and engaged work community where we support each other in developing our professional competence, including through studies alongside work. In our unit, qualified teachers in early childhood education have an annual working time, which means that some planning time is outside working hours and compensated with time off. As a newly recruited member of our team, you will be assigned a mentor to guide you in starting your work with us. Welcome to Kungsgård, where colleagues are our greatest strength. Workplace and address: Kungsgårds Daycare and Preschool, Kurtbyvägen 42 Working hours: 38h 15min/week The position is permanent.
