Kouvola City is hiring: Two full-time teachers for basic education, special education, from 10.8.2026 to 5.6.2027, at Myllykoski Comprehensive School and Utti School. The teacher duties include special education tasks. The special education teacher participates in promoting a student-centered and well-being supporting activity culture. The work involves close multidisciplinary collaboration with other teaching staff, student welfare services, guardians, and other stakeholders. Qualifications are determined according to the decree on the qualifications of education personnel. Applicants must be prepared to work in small groups following the reform of the Basic Education Act. A qualification as a class teacher is considered an advantage. A four-month probationary period will be observed when filling the position. Certificates and employment records must be presented during the possible interview. The selected candidate must provide a criminal record extract as per the Act on Background Checks for Persons Working with Children (504/02) and a health certificate within the specified deadline.
