South Savo Wellbeing Services Eloisa is seeking a Service Coordinator for a fixed-term position in elderly client guidance from August 3, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The Service Coordinator role is based in the Savonlinna team. In elderly client guidance, we support individuals over 65 and their relatives in various life situations. The Service Coordinator assesses the client's overall life situation, makes service decisions, and provides guidance, advice, and assistance to clients and relatives, including arranging home services and addressing challenges related to housing and financial situations. We require flexibility, good cooperation and communication skills, independence, and a development-oriented attitude. Experience in elderly services and elderly client and service guidance is an advantage. The role requires mobility, and therefore a valid driver’s license and access to a car are essential. The qualification requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in gerontology or a previous college-level qualification, and licensure as a social welfare professional according to the Act (817/2015). Additionally, sufficient oral and written Finnish language skills are required for the role. The position requires vaccination protection as per Infectious Diseases Act §48 and a health status report regarding respiratory tuberculosis as per §55. The selected candidate must present a health status report before confirmation of employment. A probationary period applies. Working with elderly clients requires a satisfactory criminal record check before starting work in employment relationships longer than 3 months (Supervision Act 741/2023 §28).
