Batch Maker - 2nd Shift - Avery Dennison - Remote - Global

Under the direction of the Crew Leader, performs compounding of materials in a batch processing environment by following specific instructions and procedures within specification, to schedule and on time. This role is on 2nd Shift, Mon-Thur. 3 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Job Duties and Responsibilities include producing quality products as scheduled and on time, completing daily production requirements, maintaining equipment, reporting issues, locating raw materials, documenting usage and discrepancies, preparing batch samples, controlling remix materials, maintaining a clean work area, following safety rules, participating in inventories, training employees, and participating in investigations. Qualifications include a high school diploma or G.E.D., experience in a related field, a valid driver’s license, mechanical aptitude, analytical ability, clear communication in English, minimal supervision, basic math skills, and physical ability for manual tasks. Work is very physical, involving bending, stooping, stair climbing, reaching, lifting over 50 pounds, and operating tools and machinery. Work conditions may include handling hazardous materials and working in temperature extremes.
