Blacksmith

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Blacksmith for our Jyväskylä forge to be part of a skilled and friendly team. The forge produces custom-made parts and intricate and large components used in ship propulsion, wind turbines, industrial gearboxes, furnaces and drilling equipment. We also offer sawing, heating, open-die forging, presses, heat treatment and machining services as well as material testing, NDT testing and certifications. The smithy work is a three-person machine shop team led by the master smith. We hope applicants have prior experience and education in mechanical and metal fields, but career-changers are welcome if attitude and willingness to learn are right.
