Food Service Worker - Luksia, Länsi-Uudenmaan koulutuskuntayhtymä - Vihti, Finland

Luksia Nummela Student Restaurant Services is seeking a temporary food service worker for the period from September 1, 2026, to June 4, 2027. This is a parental leave replacement. You may be the candidate we are looking for if you are a professional in food services and enjoy working closely with students and staff. You have experience in various food service tasks and your work approach is proactive and responsible. You enjoy working with people and handling diverse tasks. Your duties include, among others, preparing salads and baked goods, customer service, taking orders, cashier work, performing self-monitoring, guiding students, dishwashing tasks, cleaning services, and working independently in the school café. You are also capable of assisting in the kitchen. An appropriate qualification in the food service sector and diverse work experience are considered advantages. Knowledge of food handling, nutrition, and special diets is a plus. Success in this role requires good customer service and teamwork skills, as well as proficiency in Finnish. You can work both in a team and independently. Luksia Student Restaurant Services operate on two campuses with 16 employees. The position is located at Ojakkalantie, where there are six employees. You will perform your duties under the supervision of the food service supervisor, together with other staff. Your customers are the school's youth, adult students, and staff. It is important for them to enjoy tasty and nutritious food. You will also have access to employee benefits, such as the Epass sports and culture benefit or massage benefit, and good health services. Work shifts mainly fall on weekdays between 7:00 and 15:00. The working hours are the standard 38.25 hours per week. Salary and employment terms are based on the Collective Agreement for the Public Sector (KVTES).
