As a catering worker at Sodexo in Turku, at Flavoria Medisiina D restaurant, you are an essential helper and a good mood ambassador. You prepare salads and display products, assist the chef in food preparation, handle dishwashing, and keep the serving line and kitchen workstations tidy and clean. You are a valued team member, doing meaningful work and succeeding in your own way. Our restaurant Flavoria Medisiina D is located next to the new Majakkasairaala in Kupittaa, Turku. Our customers include hospital district staff, University of Turku staff and students, and students of Turku University of Applied Sciences. We prepare high-quality lunch and catering dishes, café products, and meeting refreshments on-site. Breakfast is also available. What your work involves: - Preparing salads and assisting the chef in cooking - Handling dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area and kitchen equipment and workstations - Serving food on the line and replenishing supplies - Serving customers at the restaurant cashier What we expect from you: - Basic skills in food handling and a hygiene passport - Basic education in the restaurant sector or previous experience in similar tasks, preferably about a year - Positive and professional attitude and good team spirit - Experience with cashier work - Attention to detail and good verbal communication skills - Sufficient Finnish language skills.
