Job Description

We are seeking a laboratory chemist to strengthen our analysis and experimental research services team for a fixed-term position. The employment lasts until the end of 2026, and we hope you can start as soon as possible. You will work as part of a team of about 20 people as a laboratory chemist. Your tasks will mainly focus on developing laboratory methods and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing analytics related to the quality assurance of our final products. The role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including: - Providing analysis and research services to various company functions - Developing and maintaining methods and supporting quality assurance - Maintaining and developing laboratory equipment in collaboration with other staff Qualifications and skills suitable for success in this role: - A relevant university degree, such as Master of Science, Doctor of Philosophy, or Engineer, in chemistry - Experience in laboratory work and developing analysis methods, especially inorganic analytics - Experience in maintaining, servicing, and installing laboratory equipment - Good organizational skills, initiative, and a solution-oriented approach - Good collaboration and interaction skills - Proficiency in English - Knowledge of laboratory quality systems and information systems - Willingness to develop and maintain a positive safety culture What Nornickel offers you: We offer an independent and versatile role in a successful company where you can genuinely develop your skills and participate in operational development.
