Job Description

HUS Diagnostic Center is Finland's leading provider of clinical laboratory and imaging services. Our primary operational area is the specialized healthcare of the HUS consortium and the primary healthcare of the well-being areas belonging to HUS. We also handle laboratory and imaging operations for the Kymenlaakso and South Karelia well-being areas. We operate across eight medical specialties. We are responsible for several nationally specialized examinations as well as research and teaching at university hospitals. Diagnostic examinations play a central role in confirming, ruling out, treating, monitoring, and screening for diseases. Approximately 3,300 laboratory and imaging professionals work at HUS Diagnostic Center across more than 150 locations. We are seeking two permanent radiation therapists for the unit of Physiology and Isotope Medicine at Jorvi Hospital. You will succeed if you enjoy working in various situations and environments with colleagues and patients, can work independently and make decisions, and possess good teamwork skills, commitment to your tasks, initiative, and flexibility in changing work situations. The job requires medication administration licenses (Love and LAS). Good spoken and written Finnish language skills are required. The work mainly involves isotope medicine investigations using camera studies and related imaging tasks, as well as diverse clinical physiology examinations, including clinical stress tests and various lung function tests for children and adults, Holter monitoring and analysis, and DEXA bone density measurements. The work is independent or performed alongside a doctor. Our patients come by appointment from various specialized healthcare units and health centers.
