The selected candidate must have completed vocational education in the automotive sector and have practical experience in vehicle repair shop tasks as an auto mechanic. Responsibilities of the automotive vocational instructor: Providing vocational personal guidance to students in general work-based learning. Assisting students requiring special support, immigrants, and those progressing faster. The job also includes other tasks related to education and student well-being as needed, as well as customer service tasks. Good interpersonal skills are required to perform the duties. The working hours are divided between two Novida locations, 60% at the Uusikaupunki site and 40% at the Loimaa site. The law on criminal record checks for persons working with children (504/2002) requires that individuals to be employed in these tasks present a criminal record extract as specified in section 6, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Records Act 505/2002 before starting the position. The law on municipal officials (304/2003) requires that individuals to be employed in this position present a health statement as specified in section 7 before starting. The employment includes a six-month probation period. The basic monthly salary for an vocational instructor is 2,566.82 euros, with a classification code of 7PER070A1. Other terms of employment are governed by the municipal collective agreement.
