Our operations are growing, and we are seeking new professionals to strengthen our expertise in a diverse operational environment. We are looking for a geotechnical designer for versatile design tasks in infrastructure construction projects, on a permanent basis. You will have the opportunity to work with construction professionals as part of the Pori infrastructure design team. You will design geotechnics broadly and learn new skills along the way! Your key responsibilities and tasks include: Performing diverse project planning tasks, Independently and guided work in infrastructure geodesign tasks, Quality assurance of projects and development of designers’ skills, Customer acquisition and communication. For this open position, we expect: A master's degree in civil engineering or equivalent, At least 3 years of design experience or experience in a similar role, Excellent spoken and written Finnish skills, good English skills, Strong skills in AutoCAD, familiarity with NovaPoint and GeoCalc (considered an advantage), FISE Foundation in Geotechnical Design certification (considered an advantage), Mainly presence at the Pori office, and a driver’s license and car are required for travel within the Pori area. A security clearance and drug test will be conducted for the selected candidate.
