Social Counselor, Adult Social Services, Keskinen - Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialue - Loimaa, Finland

You will work as a social counselor in adult social services as a substitute in adult social work. You are responsible for the entire process of your clients' adult social work: advising and guiding, assessing service needs under the Social Welfare Act, client plans, and making service decisions. You implement social counseling and social rehabilitation in accordance with social workers' decisions, systematically, goal-oriented, and focused on change. The work includes individual work as well as group guidance for social rehabilitation. You will work closely with clients and collaborate with various authorities and adult social work teams to improve the client's situation. Much of the work is also carried out outside the office in networks, home visits, in tandem work, and groups. Your work station is located in Loimaa, and your area of work covers the municipalities of the Central region (Aura, Pöytyä, Lieto, Loimaa, Koski Tl, Marttila, Oripää, Sauvo, Paimio, and Kaarina). We offer an independent, diverse, and varied position as part of a professional social services team. The team includes social counselors and social workers in the service area, as well as a lead social worker. You will have the opportunity to utilize and develop your skills in adult social work and work within extensive networks in the municipalities of the Central region. We expect you to have experience and skills in working with adult social work clients, the ability to work independently with clients, teamwork, group facilitation, and multidisciplinary cooperation. You are familiar with legislation and service systems, master social work methods, and approach your work with a development-oriented mindset. Due to the mobility of the work, you have a driver's license and your own car. The qualification requirement is a Bachelor of Social Services (AMK) or an equivalent degree, or a rehabilitation counselor AMK.
