Job Description
Do you want to gain valuable work experience in the retail sector? Are you interested in flexible work where you can choose your own shifts? Come to Joblink to learn to become a retail professional! We are now looking for new customer-oriented shelf stockers! You can apply regardless of whether you are a promising beginner in your career or a more experienced professional. You are a good fit for retail gig work if you are enthusiastic about working at various locations and feel that customer service could be for you. What is the job about? With Joblink, you do gig work at various retail locations in shifts you choose yourself. You work flexibly according to your own schedule. You book shifts conveniently using the Joblink app. A large portion of shifts are booked on short notice for the same week, but sometimes you will know your shifts several weeks in advance. It is good to know that gig work often follows our customers' seasons – there are many shifts during busy times and fewer during quieter seasons. At the same time, your own flexibility, attitude, and activity affect how many shifts are offered to you. Shelf stockers receive and unload shipments, place products on display, and ensure that shelves remain tidy. Stocking requires accuracy, a brisk pace of work, and systematicness. Stocking mainly takes place in the mornings starting at 6:00 AM, so the job is especially suitable for early birds. Work is performed flexibly from Monday to Saturday. At its core, all retail work is about ensuring the customer leaves the shopping trip with a good feeling. We hope you are excited about a job where you get to interact with people! Before your first shifts, you will receive the necessary tools from us to succeed in the job. You do not need to worry about being thrown into the deep end without the required skills. What do we expect from you? You do not need to have previous work experience; a positive attitude and a desire to learn are most important to us. Previous experience in a grocery store is certainly beneficial, but by no means a requirement. You will enjoy working as a gig worker if you like variety and have the courage to handle several different work sites. We hope that you have good social skills and are excited to meet new people. In the job, you will need fluent Finnish language skills, and we also expect you to be at least 18 years old. Opportunities for the long term Many of our employees started with us through gig work and later found a permanent position. Joblink can therefore be a step toward a new beginning or a springboard for a career in the retail sector. We offer Salary according to the retail sector's collective agreement (TES). Flexible work according to your schedule, suitable for many life situations. The opportunity to take a holiday whenever you want. Valuable work and customer service experience that is useful in any job. Opportunities to progress to various roles in the retail sector and permanent employment. People have progressed from here to become cashier trainers, team leaders, store managers, and even merchants. Support from Joblink's office team. We are available 24/7, so you can reach us in all situations where you need support and help. A nice workplace where people enjoy themselves – many choose Joblink as their workplace based on a friend's recommendation! A discount on membership fees for Elixia and Fressi gym chains.
