Global Channel Partner Program Manager – Grid Automation, Software Products - ABB Oy - Remote - Global

Owner of the Channel Partner Program for Software Products of product line Grid Automation. Defines the structure and content of the Channel Partner Program, covering value proposition for Software Products, including Grid SCADA, Substation SCADA and ADMS. Defines channel management process and ensures partnership execution. Actively collaborates with the different stakeholders, Business Lines, Product Marketing and Product Management, Lead Factory and supply units, as well as Technology Centers and Supply Chain Management. Actively collaborates with the Marketing and Sales organization where the partnership is implemented. Accountable for the execution of all Channel Partner Program activities in accordance with ABB policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. Keeps strong relationship with the channel partners during the transfer of technology and business plan execution. Your role and responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining channel partner programs around the Software offer of product line Grid Automation. Define program objectives, KPIs, and success metrics. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Develop onboarding processes and training materials for dedicated Grid Automation channel partners. Coordinate enablement initiatives (certifications, workshops, webinars). Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams to resolve issues and improve collaboration. Track partner performance against program goals. Prepare regular dashboards and reports for leadership. Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Identify potential risks in channel operations and develop mitigation plans. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, and Operations teams. Align channel programs with product launches and marketing campaigns. Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and partners. Continuously review and improve program processes for efficiency and scalability. Implement tools and systems to support partner management and reporting. Manage program budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness. Evaluate with partner(s) the local homologation to be managed and identify all the activities to be performed. Qualifications for the role include a university degree in Electrical/Electronic/Software Engineering/Automation/IT, 5+ years’ experience, product marketing, product management or a similar role, in multi-cultural environment. Experience with Electrical Transmission and Distribution Networks (HV/MV). Experience with SCADA and Energy Management Systems (EMS). Knowledge of the Utility segment, both TSO and DSO. Experience with multi-channel go to market, including channel partners. Capability to work in an international environment with collaborative attitude.
