Job Description
HUS Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacy technician for a fixed-term employment contract for pharmaceutical logistics tasks at the Helsinki location in Meilahti for the period 1.9.2026-31.12.2026. As a pharmacy technician, your duties will include diverse pharmaceutical logistics tasks in pharmaceutical distribution, such as picking and packing ward orders, receiving incoming goods, as well as shelving and inventorying medicines. Tasks may also include filling infusion fluid trolleys, tasks related to the management of the picking and storage automation warehouse, and assisting tasks in the monoclonal antibody preparation unit. In pharmaceutical distribution, you will work as part of a team consisting of approximately 60 pharmacy technicians and pharmacists. We value good cooperation skills, an active work approach, thoroughness, a flexible attitude toward changing situations, and an interest in developing the work. The tasks are diverse and partially physically demanding (lifting, moving, and daily movement in various tasks). Employment begins on 1.9.2026. Working hours are flexible general working hours. Working hours are primarily between 7:00 and 18:00 on weekdays. Annual leave accrual is determined according to the official and collective agreement (SOTE) (maximum 38 days/year). HUS Pharmacy's task-specific salary for a pharmacy technician without previous experience in the pharmaceutical field is 2469.94 eur/month. After orientation to the monoclonal antibody unit or other more demanding tasks in pharmaceutical distribution and independent participation in job rotation, the task-specific salary according to the demand of the work is 2631.03 eur/month (a basic degree in the pharmaceutical field is required). In addition, an experience supplement is paid based on experience in pharmacy technician roles. Eligibility requirements Basic degree in the pharmaceutical field (degree as a pharmacy worker, pharmacy technician, or pharmacy assistant), other degree in the social and health care field, student of pharmaceutical or pharmacy studies, or suitable experience in the pharmaceutical or social and health care field. We require vaccination protection in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act for those working in customer and patient areas, and a health certificate regarding pulmonary tuberculosis for those working in healthcare units.
