Groundworker / Telecom Cable Installation / Excavator Operator's Assistant - Christensen Holding Oy

We're looking for a new team member to join our growing operations. You'll be given a lot of responsibility in this role and will be a valued member of the team. Our teams have been the top performers at the client company. The work takes place at client sites in the Helsinki area and involves installing new pipelines and fiber optic cables. Reporting to: Field Team Leader Salary: Per collective agreement (TES), based on experience and education Working hours: Permanent, full-time (40 hours/week) Experience: Experience building fiber optic networks is considered an advantage Our client is looking for a full-time employee for the Greater Helsinki area (the work may also expand beyond the Greater Helsinki area). The tasks include installing fiber optic cabling both underground and indoors. Job description The ideal candidate will work together with English-speaking teammates in the Greater Helsinki area. Basic proficiency in English and Finnish is sufficient. Working hours are 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, but in some cases overtime may be required to complete the work. The position starts immediately and is permanent if the applicant meets the requirements. Requirements - Ability to organize and plan your own work and schedules, with demonstrated prior experience in this area. - Experience with fiber optic installations or an IT background is an advantage. Relevant training or certifications are a big plus. - Class B driving license (manual transmission) required. - Experience with technical problem-solving. - Good attitude, a team player who adapts quickly to different work environments. - Ability to work under pressure and flexibly. - Familiarity with power tools and their safe use.
