Laboratory Nurse / Nurse NordLab Pellon

We are seeking a fixed-term laboratory nurse or nurse for Pellon outpatient laboratory for the period 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027. The position is full-time day work on weekdays. The role is primarily located at Pellon health centre laboratory, with possible placements in nearby municipalities’ laboratories (e.g., Ylitornio and Kolari). Tasks include sample collection, external analytics, and customer guidance. The eligibility requirement is a laboratory nurse or nurse degree and a valid license under the Health Care Professionals Act (559/1994) or an equivalent prior registration. We value experience in sampling and customer service work. We expect flexibility in changing work situations, good collaboration and organizational skills, and customer-oriented service attitude. We require responsibility, an energetic work approach, and good teamwork from all staff. A three-month probationary period applies. The position requires influenza vaccination as per infectious diseases act §48 and fluent Finnish language skills. Employment terms and pay are determined according to the Social and Health Care Agreement (Sote-sopimus) and the local job-valuation system. Applications by 27 September 2026.
