Job Description
At Polestar, we continue to challenge conventions and redefine mobility. As a Certification Specialist, you will play a key role in building and safeguarding the company’s internal automotive regulations know‑how across global markets. You will ensure that regulatory knowledge within your area of expertise is correct, current, and applied with precision. This role is located at Polestars HQ in Gothenburg. You will analyze regulations, support certification and type approval applications, interpret legal requirements, maintain contact with external partners and authorities, and analyze the impact of product or project changes. The ideal candidate has a university degree in engineering or equivalent, at least 3 years of experience in vehicle certification and type approval, deep knowledge of automotive regulations, and fluency in English. Experience in product development and testing of complex systems is an advantage. We are committed to sustainability and innovation, aiming to be climate-neutral by 2040.
