Job Description
Masku is a growing child-friendly municipality, and we are looking for an early childhood education teacher to help build high-quality early childhood education. We offer the opportunity to work in a child-centered and pedagogically developing environment that values collaboration and professional skills. We require a qualification according to the Finnish Act on Early Childhood Education (540/2018), which includes studies providing professional competence for the role (a bachelor's degree in education with courses in early childhood education or a social services and health care degree with at least 60 ECTS credits in early childhood education and social pedagogy). We also consider applicants who will graduate in spring 2026. We expect genuine interest in working with children, good interaction and cooperation skills, and a positive, development-oriented attitude. Salary and working hours are determined according to the Collective Agreement for Early Childhood Education and Care (OVTES), approximately €3029.77/month (Level A1). The selected candidate must provide a criminal record extract, tuberculosis screening, and a medical certificate of health before starting work, in accordance with the Act on Background Checks for Persons Working with Children (504/2002) and the Criminal Records Act (770/1993), section 6, subsection 2.
