Electrical Fitter - Valmet - Kauttua, Finland

Valmet offers customers a wide range of services and solutions focused on paper and board machines, improving customer profitability and optimizing their production and maintenance. These include spare parts deliveries, machine-specific services such as condition assessments and machine part maintenance, as well as services for entire production lines or factories, such as production and maintenance development and outsourced maintenance. We are now seeking a customer-oriented electrical/automation installer for our maintenance functions at the Kauttua paper mill. As an electrical and automation installer, you will work broadly on various tasks related to the electrical and automation side of the paper mill. Your duties include tasks related to the maintenance of machines and equipment at the paper mill or power plant. You must have education in electrical and/or automation engineering. Relevant experience in process industry automation maintenance is an advantage, as well as knowledge of power distribution, electrical drives, and logic and automation systems. Above all, we value your willingness to learn and develop into a skilled professional. To succeed, you should be proactive, have good interaction and teamwork skills, be precise, and produce careful work. You enjoy working in customer-facing roles and communicate fluently. You are capable of asking for support in challenging situations. Good general IT skills and English language skills are an advantage. We also require commitment to safety thinking and adopting safety practices.
