Practical Nurse, Substance Abuse Psychiatry Department, Vaasa, Pohjanmaa Wellbeing Services - Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue - Vaasa, Finland

We are seeking a substitute practical nurse for Pohjanmaa Wellbeing Services from July 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027, initially assigned to the Substance Abuse Psychiatry Department H7 at Vaasa Central Hospital. The department's operations require both female and male nurses. Due to the current staff structure, this recruitment is targeted at male nurses. Qualifications: - A degree as a practical nurse or a qualification according to the Decree on Health Care Professionals (564/1994) or the Decree on Social Welfare Professionals (153/2016). - Satisfactory oral and written skills in both national languages of Finland. Practical nurses must register with both professional registers maintained by the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health, Terhikki and Suosikki. The selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016) section 48. Additionally, the candidate must present a criminal record extract as specified in section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act. A probationary period applies.
