Practical Nurse for Child Care in Viitasaari, ANNU Social Services - ANNU Group Oy - Viitasaari, Finland

We are seeking a practical nurse for child care in Viitasaari for the summer period from June 1 to August 11, 2026. You will care for an 8-year-old child who has hearing and vision impairments and communicates using sign language. Knowledge of sign language or augmentative communication signs, or willingness to learn them, is a significant plus but not an absolute requirement. If needed, sign language or augmentative signs are supported by interpreter services. The work involves 15 hours per week, with shifts scheduled in consultation with the family on weekdays. The number of working hours may increase. You will assist the child with daily activities such as dressing, small bathroom needs, administering eye drops, wound care (skin ulcers), and supervising their safety. The mother is also present at home during shifts. Our team is looking for cheerful and socially engaged individuals who are passionate about the well-being of children and families.
