Job Description
The Northern Finland Community Sanctions Office employs approximately 30 people across five locations. The region includes the District Courts and well-being areas of North Ostrobothnia, Kainuu, and Lapland. The Oulu location has about 20 employees. The Oulu office's jurisdiction aligns with the North Ostrobothnia well-being area. As a probation officer, your duties include implementing community sanctions, preparing assessment reports, and evaluating clients directly from civilian life to incarceration. The goal is to carry out effective and impactful community sanctions work to reduce recidivism, prevent social exclusion of clients, and promote their social integration. The work involves individual client work, group activities, and extensive networking. It also includes handling social welfare information. Trust, safety, and justice — that is Rise.
