Engineering Manager

The Engineering Manager for Virta’s Product Platform team will lead a highly experienced, autonomous squad of senior+ engineers. The team focuses on accelerating delivery of personalized, scalable care and maintaining core platform services including communications, a Workflow engine, and an AI Platform. You will be a strategic partner who anticipates bottlenecks across the company and balances quick wins with long-term structural improvements, leading a high-ownership team in AI-native software development and modern SDLC iteration. Responsibilities include partnering with product and engineering leaders to adopt platform capabilities, driving AI-native development and reducing development toil, owning the technical strategic vision for Virta’s core platform, leading a senior, autonomous squad, and focusing on senior talent development. You will work in a fully remote or highly asynchronous environment and coordinate cross-team delivery, with an emphasis on platform adoption and cross-team orchestration. You will translate OKRs/KPIs into strategy and help the team align with product roadmaps. You will also help shape the future of the Product Platform squad, including defining quick wins and long-term investments.
