Touhula Tornio is a 4-group, sports-themed daycare with good transportation links on Torpin rinnakkaiskatu in Tornio. The active theme is visible in our daily activities. We go on weekly excursions in the local environment and often visit the nearby sports field. We also focus on motivating learning environments that each employee can help design. Your tasks as an early childhood education childcare worker: As a childcare worker, you are an important part of the team that creates a safe, inspiring, and learning-supportive daily routine for children. You participate in supporting children’s growth, development, and learning together with the team, families, and the entire work community. Your core responsibilities include: - Implementing pedagogy: Participating in planning and evaluating quality early childhood education as part of the team, utilizing your strengths. You will implement small group and full-day pedagogy according to Touhula Rhythm. - Responsibility for your own small group: Managing your own small group’s activities and participating in pedagogical documentation and the preparation of children’s early childhood education plans with the team. - Caring for the learning environment: Ensuring that the children’s learning environment is diverse, safe, and tidy. - Positive customer experience: Building trust and open interaction with families. The final salary depends on work experience and any task-specific or personal salary supplements.
