Server Farm Engineer - Cadence - Remote - Global

Cadence is seeking a Server Farm Engineer to support, manage, and improve the compute farm environment. The candidate should have hands-on experience with cloud solutions and proven expertise in working directly with R&D software development teams to develop solutions to optimize their working environment collaboratively. The role involves supporting multiple locations across North America, Europe, and Asia, focusing on improving R&D productivity and driving operational strategy for HPC farms. Responsibilities include developing and executing compute roadmaps, managing internal compute farms and cloud environments (AWS), and maintaining efficiency. Requirements include 8+ years of Linux compute farm experience, 5+ years in a global or regional compute farm or hybrid cloud environment with 1,000+ servers, and extensive scripting skills in Python, shell, Perl. Education: BS/MS in computer science or related field. Salary range: $119,000 to $221,000 annually.
