As a software developer, you will focus on developing digital solutions for forestry machines with a strong emphasis on cloud technology. You will participate in the full development cycle of the team, from application design to production deployment and maintenance. Work Tasks You will work closely with the John Deere Forestry Digital Solutions team, utilizing your skills especially in developing cloud platforms and applications. - Design, development, and maintenance of digital solutions on cloud platforms - Development of integrations and interfaces between onboard/edge devices and cloud systems - Implementation of backend solutions (data transfer, processing, analytics, and database solutions) - Architecture design and conceptualization in collaboration with the chief architect We are looking for - A suitable educational background in software engineering (you may also be in the final stages of your studies) - Practical programming skills and broad interest in various software technologies (e.g., Python, Java, or Scala).
