Quality Control Officer
Job Description
Conduct final quality audits of finished goods at Outsourced Sites prior to dispatch to Avery Dennison, ensuring all products meet defined specifications and standards. Implement and maintain Avery Dennison quality standards at outsourced partner facilities, ensuring consistent adherence across all production operations. Execute process audits at outsourced partner sites to identify gaps and inefficiencies, driving targeted improvements to enhance overall product quality. Perform structured root cause analysis (RCA) for customer complaints and quality non-conformances, implementing effective countermeasures to prevent recurrence. Maintain documentation of complaints, investigations, and corrective actions in line with company standards. Design and deliver training programs for outsourced partner production and quality teams to ensure thorough understanding of and compliance with Avery Dennison quality requirements. Support partner teams in building internal quality management capabilities over time. Execute additional tasks and special assignments as directed by the Department Head, contributing to broader departmental and organizational goals.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry or Chemistry
- 2+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience conducting process audits, quality inspections, and root cause analysis
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and standard QA tools and methodologies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train and influence cross-functional and external teams
