Vehkomäki Paula Design Tmi is looking for a skilled and meticulous pattern-cutting seamstress to strengthen their operations in Tampere. The job is suitable for someone passionate about quality craftsmanship and experienced in more demanding sewing tasks. Responsibilities include: - Cutting fabric according to patterns - Sewing various garments and/or textile products - Possibly fitting and modifying patterns - Ensuring quality and finishing - Collaborating with the designer - Assembling cut garments into finished pieces - Working with different fabrics such as linen, cotton, and merino wool - Operating industrial sewing machines - Using a variety of sewing machines: overlock, coverstitch, straight stitch machine, buttonhole machine, etc. We expect from you: - Previous experience as a seamstress, especially in cutting - Good knowledge of materials and patterns - Precision, initiative, and ability to work independently - Reliability and adherence to schedules - Experience with custom or designer garments is a plus We offer a versatile and practical role in a small company.
